Neil Joshi, Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner 

At RSK Capital Partners, Neil is focused on making investments in areas and strategies in over-looked and under-appreciated asset classes and strategies for select friends and family. Much of his time is currently centered on real estate; primarily in the multi-family segment.

Before becoming the Managing Partner of RSK Capital Partners in 2014, Neil joined PEAK6 Advisors LLC in August 2008. He became the Co-Chief Investment Officer of PEAK6 Performance Fund LLC and the Portfolio Manager for the Opportunistic Volatility Trading Strategy. Prior to this role, he was the Portfolio Manager of the Convertible Arbitrage Strategy and from 2007-2008 was the Portfolio Manager of a Capital Structure Arbitrage and Convertible Bond Arbitrage Strategy for UBS O’Connor. From 2002 to 2007, he was co-Head of the Convertible Bond Arbitrage Strategy, Head of the Volatility Arbitrage Strategy, and started and was Head of the Opportunistic Credit and Credit Derivatives Strategy at Deephaven Capital. Before his aforementioned position at Apollo Trading, he was Portfolio Manager of Long Short Fundamental Equity Strategy at CS Investments from 1996-1998. He started his career in 1993 as a volatility trader for Apollo Trading, a proprietary option trading firm in Chicago. While at Apollo Trading, he led a team over to Germany to start and build a business that spanned the range of European derivatives trading. which was bought by, and became the core of, Bear Stearns’ European Equity Derivatives Trading Business.   
 
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1993, and a Masters of Business Administration degree with triple concentrations in: Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship in 2000; both from The University of Chicago.

Neil currently resides in Chicago. In his downtime, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two beautiful children, racing and collecting cars, live music, watching his guitar gather dust, reading, drinking bad wine at good restaurants, and has recently taken up golf. He is also active on the boards of several charities and organizations around Chicago, mentoring a number of business ventures and startups.
